Hello everyone, I’m Sho.

I’m a fitness enthusiast living in Japan, with a particular love for CrossFit and bodybuilding. I originally started playing soccer in middle school and continued until high school. During that time, I discovered the joy of weight training and started going to the gym regularly once I entered university.

Initially, I focused on bodybuilding and was all about getting bigger and stronger. However, over time, I began to dislike how I could no longer run long distances or even climb a flight of stairs without getting winded. That’s when I discovered CrossFit at the end of 2021, and I became fascinated with the idea of building strength while improving my aerobic capacity. To me, a strong and fit man can lift heavy weights, have a great physique, and still run long distances. That’s the kind of person I aspire to be, and I’m enjoying every moment of training toward that goal! You can check out my training journey on my YouTube channel as well.

Throughout my fitness journey, I’ve had countless questions about what kind of training I should be doing and how to do it safely and effectively. With over 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist, I have a solid foundation in how the human body works. Using that knowledge, I’ve done a lot of research, and I started this blog to share what I’ve learned with other fitness enthusiasts. My goal is to provide scientifically-backed training methods, injury prevention tips, skill development strategies, and even insights into how neuroscience can enhance your training.

Outside of the gym, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, and I never say no to a good cup of coffee. Through this blog, I aim to connect with fellow workout geeks, share my experiences, and grow stronger together.

Let’s connect and crush our fitness goals together!

Cheers,
SHO
